Un-Lazy

I actually went and cleared off all the pictures on the camera and put them on the computer. Here are a few pictures from the past week. There is Rosie and Roxie playing outside; Lilly covered in Wonder Pets stickers; Lilly sewing with Grandma; Lilly and her princess pillow from Grandma; and of course, Lilly and her beloved dinosaurs in her back pack!

Babies!

Last night my sister-in-law Dawn started having contractions that were only 5 minutes apart. After one hour, she decided it was time to go to the hospital. We all met down at the hospital around 9pm. They got her hooked up and checked out, and then made her go walk the hospital for 45 minutes. She went back to her bed, and was having BIG contractions every 30-45 seconds for 20 minutes......however, she had not dialated anymore (she was a 3) so they sent her home!!!!! What a bummer....

Tonight is Bingo night at the Eagle's Club. I might bring Lilly with me for the first time. Bingo lasts for about 2-3 hours, and Lilly can't even sit still for 2-3 minutes, so I have avoided bringing her for the past few months. However, Eric is not feeling well today, so I don't think he will want to watch her. We will see how the rest of the day goes.

Oh, and last night when I went to the hospital I forgot my camera!!! I was so irritated that I forgot it....but luckily for me, she will be back in there in the next few days anyway!! I won't be forgetting it this time!! In fact, I am going to go and charge it up right now....

Sunday Dinner

Today has been fairly productive. Except Lilly's nap. She is currently in her crib, slamming her feet on the walls.....aparently she isn't going to go to sleep!

The puppy is driving me crazy. I love animals, but I'm not so sure about this puppy stuff. Argh.

Tonight we are going to Eric's mom's house for dinner.....chicken fried steak. I have only had that once in my life, so I am looking forward to going and eating.

I would write more but I need to go get Lilly before she busts the wall down!!

So We Have A Puppy Now

Yesterday we went over to Eric's mom's house to pick up Lilly's puppy. She is totally in love with her! I am not quite as in love with her, but thats okay. I would have rather gotten an adult dog, and skipped the puppy stage....but it is worth it to see how Lilly plays with the puppy. We are still working on thinking of a good name for her. I think we are going to go with Roxie. We will have to run that by Lilly when she gets up from her nap!

Moving On

For the past two weeks the flu has been running through our house. It started with Lilly. Most of her throwing up was during the night, and she would seem normal during the day. After a week her symptoms faded, and I thought all was back to normal. Then last Wednessday night I got home from BINGO with the 'ladies' and my tummy was feeling a little upset. Less than an hour laster I was bent over the toilet....and like two hours after that so was Eric. Today is the first morning that I am feeling back to myself!!

Because of feeling so bad for the past week many things have been neglected around here....mainly the house work. So, today I am feeling ambitious in getting a bunch of stuff done, and having fun with Lilly. Speaking of which, it is time for me to go and wake her up for the morning!
